SHEET METAL

ISM was founded on sheet metal work. Our capabilities allow us to manufacture the most complex metallic components, and it remains our core business.

We’ve been doing sheet metal work for almost 30 years, servicing an array of industries from Oil and gas to Aerospace. We are sheet metal specialists with onsite capabilities in sheet metal profiling, metal punching, precision laser cutting, sheet metal press work and folding and installing inserts, as well as MIG and TIG welding.

We have an array of sheetmetal equipment and tooling at our disposal. We can profile, fold, roll and weld materials of various thickness up to three metres in length, often using our CNC machines that can save part details to our database for repeat orders. Thanks to our 200 ton press brake we can fold a wide variety of sheet metals of different levels of thickness up to three meters in length

Review our Plant List below to see if our machinery applies to your requirements. Should you need further guidance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Aluminium / Alloy

We can cut most Aluminium types including 5083, 5251, 1050, 6061 & 6062.

Brass / Copper

Whilst we cannot laser cut Brass or Copper, we regularly punch it. Send us your requirements for a quote.

Mild / Carbon Steel

We can cut standard hot rolled steel, Bright Mild Steel and coated Steels such as Zintec and Galvanised.

Stainless Steel

We cut a huge amount of Stainless Steel and hold a lot in stock, including 316 and 304 grades.

Exotic Alloys

We can cut a range of exotic Alloys such as Duplex and Titanium. We usually have this free-issued to us by the customer.

What materials do we stock?

ISMSolutions hold a huge range of material in stock as this feeds not only our profiling work, but our sheet metal and fabrication work also. See the following link for our standard stock range. Those applicable to laser profiling are sheet, tube, box section and angle. If we haven’t listed what you are looking for, please contact us as we can most likely stock it at a short lead time.

ISM Solutions prides itself in being one of the best in the business, so much so that we are regularly approached to take on challenging formed sheet metal parts that others either cannot or are unwilling to produce. We use old and new techniques where most appropriate, from our 200 ton Durma press brake, to the humble fly press. We can work from 2D drawings or 3D CAD models, with the capability to modify models and flatten parts. We specialise in light gauge precision components, individually or in batch form, however we regularly form thick gauge sheet components in Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steels.

ISM Solutions also produces a large amount of Stainless Steel catering and shop fit out sheet metal parts, from splash backs to extractors, prep tables and counter tops. We can produce Stainless Steel parts to polished or brushed finishes depending on your requirements.
